Psychotherapy & Counseling / Online in Maine

Therapy for patterns that make sense in context.

You may understand yourself well and still find certain patterns returning—in relationships, family roles, boundaries, or the ways you carry stress.

Headway is the current booking and insurance pathway. Limited private-pay availability may be discussed during a consultation.

Possibilities

What we may attend to.

I work with adults who want room to examine what is happening within them, between them and others, and around them. You may be navigating burnout, transition, identity, belonging, substance use, relationship patterns, or questions about how power and the world around you shape what you carry.

Some things may feel too hard to hold alone and too sensitive to expose to other people’s opinions. Therapy can be a place to slow down, listen closely, and develop movement without demanding a premature answer.

Method

A practice of attention, interpretation, and movement.

Sessions are expressive and flexible, with clear boundaries and a steady sense of direction.

  1. 01

    Make room for experience.

We can begin with what needs space—your emotional and bodily experience, relationships, history, and present context.

  2. 02

    Notice recurring structures.

When useful and when you are ready, we can examine thought patterns through CBT alongside relational, somatic, and emotion-focused approaches.

  3. 03

    Question the frame.

We can consider wider systems and dominant ideas about what is normal, healthy, successful, or possible.

  4. 04

    Orient toward movement.

Insight matters. Together, we consider what becomes possible because of it, at a pace that respects your limits and agency.

A note on relationship and power

I do not treat context as background information.

I aim to be a supportive thought partner in a space we co-create. I offer reflection, curiosity, and challenge, with attention to your limits, history, identities, relationships, and context.

Guided by an ethically alive awareness of power, I attend to how it shapes relationships and enters therapy. I support you in positioning yourself as the authority on your life.
